The world’s most popular fitness program, inspired by strength training and
based on scientific research
Les Mills BODYPUMP is a globally renowned fitness program inspired by strength training and built on scientifically proven principles. During a 55-minute workout, you will activate all major muscle groups and perform between 800 and 1,000 repetitions, making this workout one of the most effective ways to tone muscles and shape the
body.
Results are motivating. And BODYPUMP delivers results. Participants leave each class
feeling strong, motivated, and eager to come back for more—more challenges, more
results, and more of the amazing experience and energy of group training. Those who
attend BODYPUMP regularly simply love it and keep coming back because of the fast,
visible results.
For optimal benefits, it is recommended to include BODYPUMP two to three times per
week in your training schedule. It is also an excellent option for those who want an
effective strength workout without waiting for free equipment in the gym.
BODYPUMP is a favorite among exercisers because of its simple movements and adjustable intensity. It is ideal for both beginners and those looking for a more challenging workout.
All you need is comfortable and appropriate workout clothing and footwear, a water
bottle, and a towel. During the workout, you will use a barbell, weight plates, and a step
bench. All equipment will be provided in the studio, and the instructor will explain
everything you need to know before the class begins.
BODYPUMP instructors demonstrate different options during each workout, allowing
you to choose the one that suits you best. If you are a beginner, start with lighter
weights and train one to two times per week. It is also recommended that you shorten
the workout during your first few sessions—stay for four or five tracks instead of all
eight. Over time, you will build strength and fitness and gradually increase the weight,
frequency, and duration of your workouts.
We recommend attending BODYPUMP no more than two to three times per week, with
at least one rest day between sessions. For an optimal fitness routine, combine
BODYPUMP with cardio training and flexibility/core workouts.
The safety of our participants is our top priority, so we recommend consulting your
doctor beforehand. If you decide to attend a class, be sure to inform the instructor that
you are pregnant so they can suggest appropriate modifications during the workout.
The choreography is repeated so participants have enough time to learn the structure of the workout, the rhythm, and proper technique for each exercise. Over these three months, through regular training and gradual increases in weight, participants can clearly track how the workout affects their bodies. This systematic approach ensures safety, quality of execution, and visible progress.
The greatest benefit of BODYPUMP is its long-term structure, with the same or very similar workout repeated over a three-month period. This allows for systematic learning and refinement of proper exercise technique. A clearly defined tempo and an instructor who leads the group throughout the entire class ensure safety and ease of following the workout. Once technique is mastered, gradual increases in load lead to visible results, a greater sense of strength, and improved overall physical and mental fitness.
BODYPUMP is a group strength workout performed to music and involves a high number of repetitions with moderate weights. Each class activates all major muscle groups, following a clearly defined order and tempo that allow for a safe and effective workout for all fitness levels. The instructor works alongside the group throughout the session, while motivating music makes every workout a dynamic and energizing experience.
BODYPUMP is an excellent choice for those who want to safely, systematically, and long-term strengthen their entire body. In one hour, strength, endurance, and calorie burn are combined—without the need to think about programming or exercise selection. The workout is clearly structured and guided by music and an instructor, allowing full focus on performance, a sense of group belonging, and easier consistency in training.
Strength – because BODYPUMP is a structured strength workout that strengthens the
entire body. Rhythm – because all exercises are performed in a clearly defined tempo to music. Repetition – because a high number of repetitions within each workout, as well as
repeating the choreography over three months, enables safe progress and visible results.
